Podskalka is a very poor Roma village of approximately 1,500 people. An Assembly of God church was established there in 2014 and has been faithfully sharing the gospel in this community. The church has been in need of a building for years. They have recently found a pub/restaurant that is available for purchase.

The building has a large, open room on the main floor for church services and two rooms upstairs for children’s ministry and cell group meetings, etc. We are excited to partner with the church in Podskalka. The need is for approximately $20,000 to complete the purchase and for mission teams to help with renovations.

There is an open window of opportunity to plant Roma churches in Slovakia. However, one of the major limiting factors is the lack of trained pastors and leaders. To meet this need, a Roma school of ministry has begun in Sabinov, Slovakia. Currently, between 150-200 Roma are being trained to pastor, lead worship, and work with youth ad children.
